At least I'm not taking the bar exam

My kid seems to be her usual sunny self. Whew. This is good, because I’m now on Day 5 of migraines. Forget that 1-10 pain scale the doctors like. How the hell do I know the difference between 6 and 7? Mine goes something like this:
- Level 1: Pain I can tolerate.
- Level 2: Pain that makes me want to cry.
- Level 3: Pain that makes me want to kill and/or die.
I’m somewhere between level 2 and 3 right now.
Updated to add: double-dipping with the Frova made it mostly go away, except for the extreme sound sensitivity (the a/c noise is making me want to claw my ears out). However, my child decided to be possessed by a Level 19 demon and have a screaming hissy fit (yes! noise sensitivity!) about a) her clothes and b) wanting milk (cruel me, I made her ask for it nicely, resulting in said tantrum). I called my husband and didn’t actually have to say anything to elicit pity because of the screaming in the background.
She did calm herself down (whew), read books to herself, and is now pretending to sleep, something which is almost as good as the real deal. And could, in fact, result in the real deal if I’m very, very lucky.
