Patroness of the Arts

When I win the lottery or make a zillion dollars on book royalties (whichever occurs first), I will endow scholarships, grant grants, sponsor Science Friday on NPR, and all sorts of other fun rich person philanthropy stuff.
Until then, I will settle for putting out paint for my daughter whenever she asks, even if it’s the morning after getting a measly three hours of sleep. In fact, today she painted with (washable) paint, did Hello Kitty watercolors, and made a tremendous mess with decomposing flubber. (Re the Hello Kitty: I was out of white paper, so I ripped pages from a Hello Kitty coloring book. I was pleased she chose to paint Hello Kitty black.)
I ended up really liking the washable paint product, though. She did this one, as well as a simple handprint painting, that I think I’ll pick up some frames for – if we ever do make it to IKEA.

Tell me tell me tell me where you buy this stuff. esp. easel, paper, and washable paint. I wanted to get an easel and paint for Jack for Christmas, and I love the look of that one!
The easel is $15 at IKEA, and you can get these huge rolls of paper there for $5 (we are constantly running out, but we also have the paper roller-table top thingie, too). You can get paint at Target or Office Max/Depot, but I get the bigger bottles of it at “education” stores.
Costco had a really nice easel with storage built in, but it was a lot more expensive. The IKEA easel will fold up and fit in a 4″ space between my fridge & a shelving unit, tho.
