Goals
Posted on October 15th, 2012
I’ve set some arbitrary goals for myself this month. First, finish the draft of this novel (and barring some new hand-related injury, I ought to). Second, finish editing a last book for the online publisher (also looks like I will).
Other activities — blogging, tweeting, FBing — are on the back burner. (I’m also thoroughly sick of the election and have been hiding from a lot of social media for that reason.)
In Pea news, Friday we had a playdate with two of Pea’s school friends. (Yes, she has them — and it was pretty awesome when one of them ran up to hug her as soon as she saw Pea.) Saturday we went to lunch with friends, and Pea made instant friends with another five year old girl at the restaurant, then ran with a pack of similarly aged kids in a park nearby. Sunday, she played with kids visiting from Seattle.
So thank you, universal sky deity that I don’t believe in, for the sign. I needed it.

Seems that the Flying Spaghetti Monster has answered your prayers and with his noodley divine powers.
Ramen.
And now I want Udon.
Nice! Go Pea! Also, nice job on your goals
Well, goodness, if she has a few peeps, I don’t see what the teachers are so uppity-up about. How many friends does she need at her age?!
