But I think it’s still a win (or, Done with #NaNoWriMo!)
Posted on November 17th, 2012
- Finished NaNoWriMo.
- Contemplating edits on “real” WIP.
- Playing with mind mapping software.
- Reading a great book (Seriously — never thought I’d care about Queen Anne, but it’s a phenomenal biography. Yeah, I did have to order it from the UK — I don’t get publishers. How hard is it to make at least the e-book available worldwide? What’s the down side? I can handle the extra “u” usage and punctuation outside of quotes.)
- Bacon and bagels for breakfast.
- Splitting headache.
- Child with cold symptoms.

OMG, A.A.L. — you’ve got as much on your plate as I have — maybe more! Congrats on the NaNoWriMo finish — I have always admired people who can write a book in a month. Sorry about the headache and kid-with-cold but super-glad about the bacon (we had some this morning too!). Cheers, Anna
It surprised the heck out of me that I finished so quickly. I basically wouldn’t let myself edit the novel I finished in October (the “real” WIP) until I finished NaNo, so that sucker just flew out of me. (And I waited all of 10 minutes to get back to editing the real WIP.)
I don’t know why, but sometimes your blog’s formatting goes all weird for me and your text is all huge… any idea why?
The theme is supposed to detect what kind of device you’re on. Sometimes it goes nuts and thinks you’re on a mobile device when you’re not, and that’s the big text version. It does this to me with Firefox, but not any other browser. If you hit reload, it goes away. I probably need to trouble-ticket it with Theme Foundry.
