Migraine drill
Posted on January 5th, 2013
- Realize pounding headache is not caused by lack of caffeine, sinus pain, tension, or anything other than migraine.
- Take migraine medication.
- Wait for migraine medication to work.
- Wait for migraine medication side effects to wear off.
- Remind self to be grateful for migraine medication, botox treatments, and significant reduction in migraines, even as trying to write and confusing homophones and experiencing dysnomia.
- Whee.

I hate them. I get them, lately, because of my sinuses, but I used to be able to feel one coming a mile away because of stress – my neck muscles would start to tighten and then it would be like a hand was reaching over the top of my head to grab my face, right above the eyebrows… Now it just sits right behind my eyes, in my temples. I can completely empathiz…Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks! The sinus and muscle tension definitely don’t help, do they?
Hey, at least you won’t get wrinkles from furrowing your brow as you try to return to phasia (the opposite of aphasia, don’tcha know)! I know, such a help…you’re welcome. I am so glad that my (very mild) migraines went away, either because of one of the gazillion things I threw at them or of their own accord. They made life miserable…I can’t imagine having *real* migraines. I’m so sorry. But not too sorry to make fun of the botox. WE ALL KNOW YOU GOT MIGRAINES JUST SO YOU COULD GET BOTOX.
I have to say that not having the brow furrow now is nice…but Liz, even Nicole Kidman can emote better than I can now!
